weathertite windows bad window in home tampa Florida
On 4-9-14 my grandmother went with weathertite windows we had 14 put in.
one starting to leak from the rain they came down to resal the window we thought it was all good untill we saw the wall starting to leak we look at the window with two holes in the frame work . we call weather tite windows up they sent down one of their workers, he spent less then five mins. in the home and called it termites. i looked on line to fine out what termits can do and not a thing look to same as we had.
so i called Josh the sales person he got back with in a few hours i told him what was going out he said he would talk with his boss . About a week went buy we got a note in the mail from Mike the owner of weather tite windows and what it reads in a nut shell is we clearly shows termite damage with the pictures that they had taken and he suggest me call a termite company for further investigate my termite issue.
well we did call a termite company and no termites to be in house or the window. i recalled Josh he came down and took more photos of the window inside in out the he said it was water damage. About 3 days later we got other note from Mike the owner of weather tite windows saying that they will only repace the bucking around the window if there is any other damage that my grandmother would have to replace it at her cost and this is a one time deal any other issues would relieves weather tite windows any other issues down the road with that window these are life time windows so no deal for us there.
Today on Jan 19 2017 we went up to see Mike at his office. Mike was on the phone he sent out his vice president Chris
I was ok with that we had to retell the story over to him and he went back and talk with Mike who was on the phone now and couldn't come and talk with us really Mike!! Chris came back out, and back off the termie issus and still said we can still have the one time deal and now they seam to be saying the roof is leaking and gave usa number to call. which will cost more money really Mike and Chris!!! You claim termits first after you are prove worng with that you say someting else its time for you to fix this the right way, and not take advantage of my 80 year old grandmother
