In September 2005 I paid Web Club International $1,700.00 to have them set me up in an online shopping business as an affiliate with several online businessess.

For the first year our contracted agreement was that they, Web Club International, would maintain my web site. Approximately six months into the business Bigfitness withdrew from the program and I was left with dead links.

I contacted my advertising coach, David Ferra, he said that I was not the only one affected and would replace the merchant with another, this never happened.

I tried several times to contact tech support and recieved only one returned call and was told that Ken, the tech support person, would contact me, he never did, I was left with an incomplete, shoddy looking web site since then.

When I tried to enter my web site in late September 2006 my domain name had expired, this was weeks before my one year contract with Web Club International was set to expire, not only that but when I checked my campaign in the stats area it showed that I was still getting traffic, how could this be if my site was gone!!, now I am left believing that I never recieved that quality of traffic that I paid for.

I was fortunate enough to win my $1,700.00 back through the casino site.

Web Club International is a scam operation, they are contract breakers and need to be investigated.

WCI set up the new business with the agreement to maintain the web site for the first year, they didn't do this, part way through the first year one merchant opted out for what ever reason, my advertising coach was to replace this merchant with another, this never happened. They don't return calls. If WCI had done the work that they had agreed to and that I had paid for then so be it. Check through the other reports. I belive that Larrys' last sentence says it all.

Did you have a business that they agreed to set up a web site for? Because if you didn't it sounds like you gave them $1700 to set up a web site and link a bunch of other merchants to it. If that's true you need to ask yourself the question - If they are going to set up the site and do all of the work, what do they need you for? Could it have been that you had $1700 and they wanted it?

I am not only seeing an increase in complaints on Web Club International I am also seeing a course of conduct that may be criminal in nature, a scheme to defraud ,due to the number of complains on this site alone. I am a retired Police Officer and do feel that the authorities in Arizona should be given any and all information to this company relevant to their business practices. The National Fraud Information Center 1-800-876-7060 is a good place to start.
