I traded my vehicle in and paid a down payment for a 2003 Explorer and was told by the salesman John Flanagan that I would need a co-signer because I did not qualify for the loan on my own.

So my mother in-law Emelia Diaz agreed to co-sign for me. Come to find out a month later, only Emelia's name was in the contract as if she was the buyer.

We never once discussed Emelia as the buyer, I even have a copy of one contract that shows me as the buyer and Emelia as the co-signer and another with just Emilia's signiature. They told us they just needed a "fresh" application with her name on it because the old one was krinkled, but they only submitted the contract with Emelia's name.

She never agreed to be the buyer. When I contacted Jack Penazo & Matt Keamerer at Webb Ford I was told that they didn't even know who I was and that my salesman didn't even know who I was, even though I spent hours with my salesman John Flanagan on several occasions before Emelia even agreed to co-sign.

The car that was traded in was in my name only, and the down payment was paid by me with my checking, but yet they claim to have never met me.

I can't register the car, plus I would have to get full coverage insurance not only for me, but Emelia as well. And on top of that I am not getting credit for the payments I'm making towards the loan on my credit record.

They think they can get away with anything because once the papers are signed it's no longer their problem. I thought all I needed to pay attention to was the numbers, it never crossed my mind that they would do something like this so I trusted them and signed the papers they told us to, but it was never discussed that Emelia was the buyer and we would have never agreed had we known that was their intention.

I even have a contract with myself as the buyer, which is the one that was explained by John Flanagan and John Reano that was supposed to be the deal.
