Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I went to Webb Ford in Highland with my fiancee at the time to look at used cars. We found a Dodge Durango that we liked and test drove it. We went back in and started filling out paperwork. BIG MISTAKE!

We told our salesman that the car was for my fiance, not me, and they put my name down first. Having never bought a car before, i didn't know that meant that the car was going to be under my name. We even traded in my fiance's truck. I was under the impression that nothing final was taking place; it was all standard procedure.

After signing a million things, we drove the car off the lot. We didn't even make it to the gas station. I put the car in park and it started going in reverse. I then put on the e-brake and shut the car off. It would not start back up. I called the salesman from my cell and he and a maintenance guy came and picked us and the car up and we went back to Ford. They gave us a loaner truck and would not give us back my fiance's truck.

I tried to give it back the next day, but they said that I had signed a cash contract and that I had already bought the truck, there was nothing I could do. I then was taken into a room with 4 males (I am a young female) and reduced to tears. They called me darling and hon and generally were a group of sexist pigs and demeaning and disrespectful. My fiance gave them back their truck later that night and tried to get his back. They would not give it back. They threatened to have the Durango towed and the bill sent to us if we didn't take the car off the lot.

Eventually (it took about 4 days out of my life), we straightened everything out because of a technicality. There were two things wrong with the contract. First, Webb Ford never signed my contract, making it not legal or binding. Second, when they are having you sign contracts, watch how they put the one that is filled out on top and two other ones, that are NOT FILLED OUT underneath, and they have you sign everything at once. This is illegal!!

I wanted copies of everything that I had signed, and after making me go to two separate offices (in tears) they made me wait about an hour and then they only gave me the one that was filled out. The other two never were shown to me. Upon pointing all of these things out to a manager, who would not even talk to me or look at me, he said that if we went to court I would lose. I talked to a lawyer, since that contract that I had only had my signature, and not theirs, the contract was void. I would have won. No matter how many signed copies they had of illegal contracts, I had one that wasn't.

Sorry it's so long, but Webb Ford sucks and their dealings are dirty. I would never, never, never associate myself with anyone that even worked there. Don't buy from them!
