In June/July, our advertising department submitted our site to just over 57 search engines. Because of time restraints, we wanted to enter into an agreement with an SEO company to assist us in the process.

On August 14, 2007, we entered into an agreement with Websquash Technologies located at www.websquash.com to. In return for payment, Websquash agreed to submit our site to 1500 search engines/directories and guaranteed our homepage would "hit the first 3 pages of the search engines".

On August 22, 2007, I received an E-Mail from Trish at websquash stating, "We have made the necessary updation on your site and optimized it. We have started the resubmission of your site to the search engines. We will now wait for the search engines to index your site and retweak again as required".

On September 15, 2007, Our advertising department conducted a search for our site using key words. We were on the first page of 3 of 3 search engines 15 times.

On October 3, 2007, I wrote websquash asking why the site had the same meta tags as day number 1. I also aksed them why they have not submitted my site to the 1500 search engines. Trish replied, "Thats a competitive keywords and it will require series of optimization. We will retweak and keep on retweaking as the indexing continues. We also recommend you to increase your website links on the keyword free online auction on other websites."

On November 5, 2007, I wrote websquash again asking why I have not seen the site on the first 3 pages. Trish again replied, "We will keep on tweaking your site in every indexing session."

On December 3, 2007, I again asked why my site was still not listed on the first 3 pages. I also asked for a copy of the 1500 search engines/directories which my site was sumitted. I did a check of the search engines they had on their site and to my suprise, our site was on only about 15 of the 150 they have listed. Most of the sites our advertising department submitted. Trish replied, "The more competitive the keywords, the more optimization steps are required but for that we have to wait for the search engines to index your site and then we can review again and make the changes again as required." I wrote her back and explained to her they have never optimized my site. She again assured me they were going to optimize my site.

On Jan 4, 2008, I again asked websquash for a list of the 1500 search engines and why my site still has not been optimized.

On Jan 5, 2008, I received an e-mail from Websquash Staff at http://www.websquash.com, stating on 12/22/2008, "We have submitted your website to the various search engines, directories, and link pages". They enclosed a copy of the page links.

To my surprise, there were less than 130 links. I checked all the links they said they submitted my site to and here are the results, 14 sites were free submission sites. 3 **** sites, 28 advertising sites requestiong money for site referrals, 76 search engines.

After checking all these sites, 87% had no record of our site on their site. 9 search engine admins stated, not only was our site never submitted on 12/22/07, they never received any submission of our site by wensquash.

In summary,

1) Websquash never optimized my site after day number one.

2) The meta tags websquash placed on my site droped me off the first 3 pages by 66%

3) Of the 130 sites they sent me confirming submission, 87% had no record of my site on their site.

4) Websquash refused a refund despite their lies and breach of contract.

5) They failed to get my site on the frist 3 pages in 5 months.

6) They failed to submit my site to 1500 search engines or directories.

Websquash Technologies Websquash deliver services

#2Author of original report

Fri, February 29, 2008

I wanted to give an update as to how Websquash has now delivered on their service after posting this report. The day after I posted this report, I was contacted by Trish. She was more than eager to help. She sent me a long e-mail explaining me their services. She agreed to personally work on my site. As of today, 02/28/08, my auction site is now listed on the third page of one major search engine. My site has also increased 100 more hits per day. I have asked rip off report to remove the above complaint. They have yet to repy to my e-mail. In closing I have learned several things to say about websquash. They are as follows. 1) be patient. The service does not work overnight. It does take several months to get onto the search engines. 2) Ask for a direct answer to your question. Keep asking them until they answer your questions. 3) Ask for updates. 4) Ask for Trish to help you. I will keep you updated as to the progress of my site and websquash.
