My friends and I were looking for a place to live off-campus and we found the website weneedtomove.com
the officer on the phone said we have to pay about $180 deposit and they will give us the information about
the available houses around the campus.
we paid without any doubts and we did receive the information.
however, we failed to live off-campus and decided to live in the dormitory.
we wanted to cancel the contract but they said it is only available after 90 days.
we waited, waited, and waited
i called them after 90 days and requested for the refund.
they said i just need a handwritten letter requesting the deposit and i sent a letter to the company.
since i couldn't receive any responses from the company, i kept called them and asked them where the response is?
And today, the lady who answered my call said i am not qualified to receive any refunds?
What the heck? you shuold've told me when i first asked for the refund!
isn't this ridiculous? i've waiting for weeks to receive response and i've wrote a handwritten letter to the d**n company
they have not mentioned about using the website like 3 times a month or whatever.
they said it is all in the contract.
isn't that their job to remind the customers what the requirements are?
this is ridiculous
