I replied to an ad for Wentworth Marketing in my local paper online (AJC) and decided to place an application. I was contacted by Wentworth Marketing via my email after a few days of submitting an application through their web site. I did not respond then their recruiter called my home. She scheduled an interview for me the next day.

I went in for the interview and everything went very well and the people were extremely nice. The interview only lasted about 15-20 minutes. During that time I was informed that they were an outsourced firm of Bell South and the primary goal was to retain current clients and sales would be involved for a few months before moving to the next phase of the management trainee program. After the interview I was informed by my interviewer (Scott) that they would be calling selected candidates between 4pm-5pm that afternoon to schedule a second interview.

Well, I did receive a call to come in the next day for a 9am-5pm follow up interview!. Needless to say I felt that this was extremely unprofessional (no scheduling involved) and basically if you could not make it, for this full day work schedule "interview", that's it. I had scheduled another interview for the following day and was not able to attend.

He said that if the position was still available that I would get a call back. I never did. I then found all the negative reports here that affirmed what my gut feeling was. This was an elaborate scam and an enormous waste of my time. I am so greatful that this site exist! Please don't waste your time.

I have worked with Wentworth for 1 year now! This is a GREAT company to work for. I have always made good money here. The owner actually is very helpful to any person that needs it. He is quick to help someone out with bills and family issues. He has a very big heart. I have seen one to many times when he does help someone out and they never pay him back or quit the job. This job isn't mean for a person that doesn't want to work hard. Its like that saying you work hard, you play hard! The only reason I have ever seen a turnover rate here is because people don't have the determination to do this job. I also just see inmature people who aren't ready for a career. This is a job for someone who wants to suceed and not change jobs from month to month. Thanks for your time!!!

I'VE NEVER POSTED ANY KIND OF COMMENT/COMPLAINT ONLINE BEFORE, BUT I WORKED FOR THIS COMPANY FOR ALMOST 3 YEARS AND IT'S 100% LEGIT. THEY'RE GREAT PEOPLE AND IT'S A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE. I COULDN'T HELP BUT NOTICE THAT WHOEVER WROTE THIS RIP OFF REPORT WASN'T OFFERED A POSITION! IT'S NOT THE COMPANIES FAULT THAT YOU DIDN'T TELL THEM YOU HAD A SCHEDULE CONFLICT, OR THAT THEY DIDN'T THINK YOU WERE QUALIFIED. =)

Well I'm straight out of college and starting my job search and Wentworth Marketing was the first company to reply so I was very excited and scheduled an interview for tomorrow. Tonight as I was picking out my tie for the job interview I decided to do some research on the company as its wise to know the company you're being interviewed by so that you can ask questions and show the intervierer that you truely are interested in the job. So I visit thier homepage (http://www.wentworthmarketing.net/) and everything looked very shady. I looked at the job description posted on AJCJOBS.COM which on my second reading came out as very vague. I dug deeper and soon found links discussing cydcor and other scams. The way these companies all have similar websites, sales pitches, and complaints against them. I checked my email account and found that they contacted me only an hour 15 minutes after I sent them my resume and had the gall to say I was selected "After careful review of the qualified applicants" I'm very dissapointed that the upcoming interview I was so stoked for is nothing but a cattle drive and a scam. Well at least I know I gained some smarts from my college education, and I know I too smart for this. Thanks to the whistle blowers I can sleep in tomorrow. I hate being reminded on how ugly the world can be. That people would take young optimists like me and turn them into zombie slaves. Yet its wise to know that thier are few you can trust.
