I heard about WePay.com as an alternative to PayPal for taking payments. Wanting to give a little guy a shot, I went to them when setting up my webstore for my site.
I got a few items into the store, and someone went ahead and ordered something. A small sale, under $10. First they said payment was coming, then they said it was held up for more info. I provided the info, then they decided they are dumping ME after one sale. They decided that my products were "high-risk" which I find bizarre. I sell toy soldiers and printed books for games. I have NEVER heard of ANYONE referring to those items as being high-risk.
They hide their phoen number, and make it hard to get their attention. I would recommend steering away from them and maybe using AMAZON Payment Services instead. They approved me a year ago when I signed up with Kickstarter, and I have had no trouble with them.
