I think it's rediculous for you to expect them to pay MORE than the price they advertise and then have the nerve to complain and insult them when they don't. If you didn't like their offer, you should have just moved on to the next place.

No matter what price they had advertised for sterling. Do you honestly think that $250 is a good price to offer for a 10 troy ounce Englehard Bar 99.999 % pure Silver??? Maybe your really desperate and will settle for anything but that is not a fair price anywhere they could sell that and would get an easy $110.00 profit I was would have sold it.

Man I was just in there 2 days ago, I sold silver and i can tell you their posted price was for 47 cents a gram! That's what I got and i was happy to get it. It was the best price I had been offered and I checked 3 places on my way home from G.R. I don't know where you came up with .85 cents but there's NO WAY they could make any money paying 85 cents on scrap silver when spot is only $1 per gram. Even I know they have refinery fees and they have to have a markup to make a living. If he offered you $250 and the posted price is 47 cents a gram then you need to redo your math and give that man an apology because $250 for 10 ounces is WAY more that 47 cents a gram. Anyway, sorry you had a bad experience in there, I love the place and I'm glad to see them in town. But I gotta say, if you acted in the store, the way you sound on here. I'm sure they won't miss you if you never go back! LOL
