I am an employee of Verizon Wireless. I am not in the area reported on but it is my understanding that we a 15 day satisfation gurantee (as stated in our Worry Free Guarantee)anywhere in the country. Even though we always hate to lose a customer, if for some reason you wish to cancel service within 15 days of signing up, we will do so at no charge to you except for the prorated amount of the time you had the service (there are always exceptions to this charge depending on the situation). If after the 15 days there is usually a $175 charge, but definately not $1400!!!! Anyway, I am sorry to hear you have had such a horrible experience, but I believe if you will go to one of our Corporate locations, not an agent or reseller of our service, you will see a huge difference in the service you rec. Every comapny has it's faults (and usually a bad (or rude) apple or two), but please don't judge all of us over this incident alone. Thanks for your time and good luck!
