Not only did they cheat me from the get go, they have continued, I have made 3 attempts so far to fix some scamming with the billing. My wife sent in an extra payment, and written ALL over the envelope and check were the phrase they requested if you wanted to make sure they put the money directly to principal. Guess what, yep, they took a payment out of the deposit it was placed AFTER the now smaller principal payment and they did not lower the interest payment. In addition to this I am on automatic payment options they took out a second payment that month, and the following. After 2 or so hours on the phone being told there is nothing they can do about it they finally agreed to fix it. 4 payments later they finally credit the extra payment back to principal, but as you all know thats 4 payments paying extra interest. Also to note, as odd as it sounds I think they have paid off the central florida BBB. I put in a complaint to the BBB and had some replies from Westgate saying that I was lying saying I had any issues and that me saying their information is incorrect was just me trying to get out of my contract. Funny thing is they even managed to spell my name wrong. After all was said and done (I never had a single message I left for the BBB returned) and I was not happy with the resolution and it was not taken care of it was reported on the BBB site as being successfully resolved. Don't expect any help from the BBB on this one.
