Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I had a 2006 Hyundai Accent financed my Westlake Financial Services.  After a payment was made in February 2013,  it was told to me that it was the last.  Well, I few months later a repossession company was looking for the car.  When I called Westlake, I was told  two deferred payments showed up on the account.  Ok, i made arrangements to pay what was owed in two payments of $425.16.  After the first payment, we was told the car would not be repo'd.  Well low and behold, it was.  Ok was told it was a mistake and they got the car brought back. Cool.  Well, I made the second payment and ask specifically if that was it.  Was they sure I did not owe any more money.  Jamaal in the recovery department said that was it and I should receive my titles in 25 days.  Well today, July 20, 2013, I go to my mailbox and I have a Telewire from Westlake Financial Services, dated 7/12/13, saying I have a deficiency balance of $1,190.00 but i get a one time amnesty offer to pay 50% of that and I would be done.  Now when I made the last payment on July 3rd, Jamaal in the recovery department told me I had no more payments.  I asked him if he was sure twice before we hung up and he said yes.  So what the heck is this $1,190 deficiency payment.  Look like everytime my account hits zero, Westlake comes up with some more bulls*** about me owing more money.  This company is a rip off.  Federal regulations need to look in to this company because they are ripping off customers.  I have not been able to talk to any one because they are closed but I will be calling on Monday.  I also have called my brother who is a lawyer and judge with the city of Houston to see what can be done.  Westlake has become I thorn in my side.  Never again will I use this company.  I rather catch the bus!!!

I am now experiencing the same drama with these money hungry unstoppable vultures! After sending the payoff check on an auto loan to Westlake Financial they claimed "not received," when they finally did "receive it" they divid up additional fees as well. I knew they were lying when it didn't come back to me and that's when I started making phone calls and visits as well as online complaints. I called the right people and low and behold "they received it". Ha, what a coinkidink? I am in pursuit of the title at this time but their game is a brutal and nasty one and at the expense of the consumer! My thoughts on it?  If a class action lawsuit doesn't already exist, we need to ban together to form it. They are getting rich off our suffering. Someone, probly a lil vato named Diego or George (one of those lil vatos called my cell phone from an email address to FaceTime me for whatever devious reason he has up his sleeve afterwards. If you get a FaceTime call on your phone from [email protected] just go to settings and turn off your FaceTime so he can't get a pic of you. He called twice after my phone confirmation of check processing. I told those lil vatos "you better take your lil vato a*s to the PO Box and get my check. Each time I called I asked "did you go to the PO Box and the reply was always "No"! Some nerve of those lil vatos!
