Complaint Review: Wet and Wild Rentals - Internet

Thanks for sharing your experience too. The other poster clearly is the woman at the business hiding behind a fake online self. We rented another boat and had a great day! I am SO glad we paid a little more for better professional service and a great day. Again, avoid this business like the ague. The BBB is not a pay for an A establishment. You get an F rating when you get a complaint and fail to rectify the issues complained about. So another person, that's 3 now, complained due to their bad experience and this company did not rectify the situation. Avoid avoid avoid! And you cannot get sued for telling your story. We have a first amendment. 

I guess I am also in line to get sued for my experience with this so called "business".

i too called to get information and was told I would receive a call back shortly, which never came.  I call again the next day and finally got ahold of a live person and set up an appointment for 4 pm that afternoon to come check out the equipment and make reservation / put down deposit. When I got to the location, what a hell hole of a place it was. The equipment was scattered all over the place, some in one field across the street, some more in another company's lot next door( looked like a construction company or something). Anyway, I went inside to what I thought was the office( since the Wet and Wild banner was hanging on the fence in front of the door. I told the guy up front who I was and I had a 4 pm appointment with *****, and he said it's only 345 but no one from Wet and Wild had been in all day but I could wait if I wanted. As I waited, I chatted with this very nice guy and he informed me that W&W does'nt have an actual office but he lets them use a room in his office when they need it.  Anyway, 4 pm had come and gone and after I got tired of waiting around, he said he had a number for the girl who was supposed to be there and he could call her for me. So I said please do. When he called and left message for her, she called him back about 15 minutes later and said she forgot about the appointment but something came up with her kid and for him to tell me she wasn't going to make it and for me to come back tomorrow at the same time. Never got a phone call from her telling me she wasn't  going to make it or anything. I left work early for no reason and I wasn't going to do it again. 

I left there and went up to Campers4Rent in Lewisville. They had at least 3 people working there until 6 pm and were very professional and showed me different campers and even hooked one up to my car since I wasn't sure my car would tow it safely. It sunk the car down pretty low so the yard man suggested a smaller camper at a less expensive rental rate. The woman in the office was extremely accommodating and very patient as well as professional.

What a difference in 2 businesses both competing for my business dollar!  Call it what you want, but when a business doesn't act professionally, I feel they should be called out on it. 

Childish? If expecting to be treated like a customer should is acting childish, then I am guilty as charged.

How many names does this scam of a company go under? Just found one more having looked for their FaceBook page to which they now have it blocked so you cannot add a truthful review of their company. LOL

 So because they were too busy to speak with you when YOU called and they did not call you back in a time frame that YOU set in your head that makes them a bad business? How does that work exactly?? Youre a POTENTIAL customer. See you want to play the victim, but Im calling YOU out on this one. Lets face it, YOU were upset that YOU had to wait. When you called back and they told you they would have to call you back, YOU took it as a PERSONAL attack and treated the minimum wage employee like s**t so you could express YOUR anger at them not calling you in the time fram YOU set in your head. They didnt say "I will call you back in 5 mins", no they made the CARDINAL SIN of telling they would call you back shortly. Then when you had to call back the next day, you proceed with your PERSONAL attack against the minimum wage employee. You do realize that the employee has no control over WHAT THE OWNER DOES!!!!! So you went all b***h and ran your mouth off in some vain attempt to cause drama and to insult the person WHO DID NOT CALL YOU BACK!!!!!

First rule of business, PEOPLE ON THE PHONE ARE SECOND TO THE PEOPLE IN YOUR SHOP. Those people in the shop have driven down there and are there IN PERSON. YOU just wanted information. So you were a b***h because YOU didnt recieve the call in the time frame YOU EXPECTED.

Yep, Youre a childish little twit. Heres a thought for you.....LEARN TO BE A BETTER PERSON!!! The BBB is a "pay to play" system. That means as long as you PAY the BBB you will get a "favorable" rateing. What a "F" tells me is that they DID NOT pay the BBB to give them a "A" rateing. Then we get to the FACT that the previous incarnation of THAT business had a "F" rateing. You do realize that they probably SOLD the business to someone else and THAT person changed the name to get out from under the "bad" BBB rateing. Since you can use the web to play the victim even though YOU were not ripped off in ANY WAY, you SHOULD have been able to look up the information on that business to see if the did indeed sell it to someone else. But YOU DID NOT DO THIS. No you took some tidbit of information and you tried to use it to be abusive to a minimum wage employee because YOU felt slighted because you didnt recieve a phone call. You COULD have just driven down but you did not. No you would rather cause dramam over NOTHING.

YOU must have a very small life. I see this from people who have NOTHING in their life so they cause dramam for others over the slightest issue. YOU have not been ripped off. Since you like drama and causing trouble, IM going to cause you some trouble. Im going to forward this post onto them and their lawyers. Since YOU like drama so much let me increase it a bit for you. See the web is a media outlet. This means that what you have done with YOUR post IS illegal. See YOU were NOT ripped off in ANY WAY. At best you were inconvenced because you had to wait. This means that since YOU wrote this post with the INTENTION to cause mischief, your post is designed to cause that business to loose business. THAT is illegal. YOU have LIED to play a better victim when it is obvious by your own post that YOU instigated the ENTIRE situation. Which means that since YOU have used the web to slander and defame a innocent business by presenting YOUR opinions as fact. THAT is also illegal.

SInce you just LOVE abusing minimum wage employees AND you like to spread your lies over the web, you should LOVE when they sue you. And dont think youre safe sitting at home posting your drivvel online. YOU ARE NOT SAFE!!!!!!! All it will take is a court order and they will know EXACTLY WHO YOU ARE!!! Everything you do is logged somehow and someway. Good luck in the future, I hope to every god known to mankind that they sue you for everything you have. And when your sitting in that womens shelter or under that freeway overpass, you can look back and see where THIS was the defining moment in your life. The day your lies and venom cam e back and bit YOU on the a*s.

Oh and since a boat or jetski IS a vehicle, if there is an accident they HAVE to have a police report to send to the insurance company. I guess common sense is something you lack as well as manners.
