I applied for a WEX Fleet Fuel Card on October 24th, 2013, and was approved on November 5th, 2013. The sales rep Ray Wormwood spoke very highly about the WEX company. After being approved WEX (Wright Express) sent my fuel cards out via mail. I received the cards on November 9th, 2013. Once the cards was received I called the customer service toll free number 800-492-0669 on Monday November 11th, 2013 and tried to activate the fuel cards and was transferred to a guy by the name of "Ian Moore" who to this day still have not gotten back with us in regards to this issue. Three vioce mails were lefted with Ian Moore, two voice mails to his supervisor "Lori", and one email was sent to the sales rep Ray Wormwood. 

After giving WEX two full days to return our phone call in regards to activating the fuel cards, I tried to follow back up with Mr. Moore on Wednesday and got another voice mail for the third time. Now keep in mind we were told to contact him by customer service. We called Mr. Moore again on Thursday and got another voice mail. Finally we decided to called his supervisor "Lori" one more time from a unavailable number and guess what she picks up. So I explained the situation to her and she stated that my application was approved and then her department took back the approval but could not give a reason why. Now keep in mind we were approved for a credit limit of 10,000.00. Now all of a sudden a week later after receiving cards in the mail we were not approved. We as a company have never been declined for any type of credit card including this WEX fuel card.

This company by far has the worse customer service, misleading, bad business practice, and dishonest people based off my experience with WEX Inc. PLEASE DO NOT use this bank in regards to your fuel fleet account you will regret it !!!

In response to WEX reply there was never an agreement given to us in writing nor via phone or email. Not to mention there were no terms provided to us at the point of the application. And still "NO" letter provided to us based on the decline decision made after we were approved by WEX to this day. These guys are full of excuses.

For companies out there looking for great customer serivce with "NO" hassel give Voyager CSI a call 855-844-6622, there a partner of US Bank. The customer serivce was amazing and we got approved for more than WEX approved us for. http://voyagercsifleet.com/
