Because I accepted the payment toward a new machine they denied reimbursing me for the two plus years I still had on my warranty. I basically paid for half of the 45% they paid to deny my claim. Not at all customer friendly!!!
Would not honor my extended warranty plan as not being cost effective for their company. Offered me $359.55 or 45% of the value of my 8 year old Whirlpool Cabrio washer. Had just renewed my warranty contract for three years at a cost of $239.70. Not even a year into the new contract. When I asked about getting a rebate for the two plus years of extended warranty the agent kept asking if I would accept the payment. I finally said yes. I then asked her to get back to my request about how to get a rebate. Was then told that I could not get a rebate because I had already accepted the offer of the 45%. If I had only extended the warranty by one year I still would have gotten 45%. I did the three year contract in good-faith. A giant rip-off. I was given no satisfactory help by their agents. Basically was told I had no futher recourse.
