WhiteOverNite, Novapointe Ripoff, SCAM, Bogus Free Introductory Offers, Unauthorized Billing, Fraudulant, Dishonest, Untrustworthy, BEWARE OF, PHONY Business, Bad Business practices, RUTHLESS Ontario California
On approximately 6-15-06, my "(Physician prescribed & medicated) husband" accidently signed up for a "free" offer from this HUGE BOGUS, Scam of the year business..
The cost was supposed to be Only 4.95.. He saw no small print, or other sign of more charges to come.. Only 2 days later, our already low balance bank account had been debited 3 times!
The 4.95 was immediately charged, quickly followed by a 15.95 "express shipping fee" and a whopping $69.95 charge for the actual product.. We had no product and were completely disturbed by these charges. A call was made to the company and we were told that nothing could be done to credit our now pitiful acccount. We were told the product was "ON THE WAY", even though we did not want it and wanted to cancel everything.No credit would be given they said and even worse, our would be debited again..I have found out since that day that millions have been scammed the same way..
THank GOD, my husband heeded my advice and canceled his credit/debit card today before any more charges came thru...
I feel violated and suspect that many (who have not cancelled their card numbers will be charged over and over again by fake company IDs..This has already happened to many poor unfortunate souls..This company needs to be sued and closed down to protect good well intending folks...Lesson Now officially learned by us at a cost of nearly $90.BUT could have been lots more if we had not acted on it..
