I ordered a book, plaque and leatherette from "Who's Who Registry of Academic Excellence" for $145 last May 2009 for my daughter who had a 99.8 average. I thought this was an upstanding company as I have ordered from here before, the previous year and recieved my merchandise. But not this year, no merchandise, no refund, no notification, nothing.

They sent a very professional letter with an order form, a Who's Who ID #,& a biography proof. I then filled out the order form, sent a money order for $145, and a picture of my daughter as well. They listed a phone number of (202)470-6246 (Fax#202-609-8969), a website of www.whoswhostudentregistry.com & an address of 1200 G StreetNW, Suite 800, Washington, D.C. 20005-6705 . Seemed legitimate to me. I didn't think this would happen. But I'm very disgruntled!

I called on July 10, 2009 as I had not received anything yet & spoke with "Carol" in Public Relations & she said to expect it to be shipped early Jan 2010, no later than March.

I then called back in April 2010 & left numerous messages & received no resronse whatsoever. So I then went online to their website to find: " Due to the current economic conditions, AWWA has ceased operations. We are working to fulfill all outstanding orders at this time. Please check our website periodically for further updates". 

I have checked the website periodically as requested only to find the same message. I'm at my wits end and don't know where to go from here.

I received no notification, no refund, no nothing! $145 is a LOT of money& they should at least of refunded me my money, as I sent a money order. I do still have my money order receipt if no one has cashed it, but how would I know as no one has had the decency to contact me. I truly believe that "Carol" knew this lasy July & told me what she did to passify me. THAT SUCKS!!!

Like I said, I have ordered from here before and didn't have any problems, but now NO REFUND, NO MERCHANDISE, NO NOTHING!! It would be nice if I could either have my merchandise or a refund. Someone should of at least contacted me! I feel like I was so ripped off & it really pisses me off. Thats why I'm taking this time to hopefully get something!
