Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I applied for and received my pink slip loan,  fine,  however payments were monthly until September, when payment was made and my bank DID NOT receive the payment request,  not knowing I received many phone calls threatening repo if not paid,  days later I was finally able to secure some relatively smart individual who walked me thru an extended systematic payment,  case closed here.

They are notorious for leaving a payment hanging so as to repo any vehicle with extended value ( yours) and causing as much grief as possible.  The personnel employed here are derogatory, dillusional, and most of all ignorant, just trying to make a buck on the consumer.  Filing a class action suit within 30 days.

I agree with the original complaint. I had the same problem when I had to mail my payments in because the online payment system they say they have has never worked. They sent my checks back to me writing 'return to sender not at this address' on their OWN payment envelope! In the meantime they repo'd my car and demanded I pay in cash through western union. At the time of the repo I needed my car back and didn't have the luxury of waiting to argue this out with them in court so I paid what they said was past due plus over $500 in repo fees with the intent of filling a small claims suit against them. A few days later I got another statement from them stating that I owed another $680 in "other unpaid fees", which I was told it was repossesion fees even though I was told that that was what the extra $520 was that I paid to get my car back. They told me that was just the fee for the actual repo and that this new amount was for the fact that they had to repo my car. I tried to argue that my car should have never been repossessed to begin with, but they responded by laughing at me and mocking me. I have kept up with my payments since theN, but refuse to pay that $680. I also want to add that I was told that after paying to get my car out from their illegal repossesion that I was current, and even paid the next months payment early as they demanded in order to get my car out. Now they are trying to repo my car AGAIN for those "other unpaid fees" they added. Thankfully, I am out of state (with my car) for work, and don't have to worry about them getting it right now. I am going to file a small claims suit as soon as i know when I will be heading back home, but really believe that any consumers who have been screwed by Wilshire need to start collaborating ASAP and seek legal remedies. I'm not sure about you, but I do know that with me they have also practiced illegal collection practices as well. It's bad enough that I have paid them over $4,000 on a $3,000 loan and I STILL HAVE a payoff amount of just over $5,000 but to have to worry that all they have to do is say I didn't pay, even if I did, and they can just take my car again?? Scary. They will only get away with this as long as we let them. I would be interested in joining forces with others. I do investigations into businesses and their employees and the business practices they employ for a living, and would love to start on Wilshire.

They need to be stopped.

The rebuttal explaining how good your employees are sp friendly and helpful is total garbage.  I now find you have moved not one

But three payments to the backside of my loan, and I will do something about it when I am back on my feet.

This threatening crap your people generate is illegal and unwarranted as well.

There are no email addresses for your officers and the customer service email is not working or this may have

been settled already.  The class action suit is garnering signatures.
