Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I signed the modelrep contract and paid $300.00 when i saw the advertisement, did some research on the Better Business Bureau, and spoke to a Ron from the company. The advertisement that made me want to sign this contract stated "Be photographed AT OUR NETWORK'S EXPENSe every month for 12 months at a highly Professional Photo Studio in your area!"

I called the company and asked this Ron if this was all that was involved and he said yes and even told me where the studio was in my area. I recieved in the mail, after signing contract and paying the $$$$, 3 sheets of printed material and a check for $25.00 telling me to purchase an outfit from their Old Navy web-site and go get my pics. made at Olan Mills, one sheet of paper also described what you can do for extra work they called them "weekly assignments" and it stated that these were optional.

I did a few of those. When it came to the following month I e-mailed them asking where my check was for the next "monthly" photo shoot. They then told me that that was not gaurenteed, only the weekly assignments were. So i questioned their advertisement and they would not respond I then asked for my money back because the 12 month deal was what I signed for, I new nothing of the weekly assignments when I signed. If I don't do those "optional" weekly assignments, what else can I do?

They won't give me my money back and they won't respond to any of my e-mails. Also the free $1,000.00 gift cert. you get is a joke, half the stuff they offer they don't even have in stock. Ron, whom I have had contact with has been very rude and unprofessional when he responds to my e-mails. I have lost what was to me a lot of $$$$.

They call theirself "christain based". To me, a Christain, this is not the way to do business.

Not only are they rude at W.I.S.H. the "conveniently" forget who you are when the time comes to send the goods! I have been waiting months for a shirt I paid for (and have proof of that) and when I emailed Ron today, he didn't even know who I was! I paid $40 for a runway that never happened, and now he's telling me I have to pay $79 for the runway - plus $29.99 a month to be his spokesmodel? He better wake up! He should be paying me to represent that dump. I didn't pay the $289.00 fee, he waived that for me in the beginning because I was the spokesmodel for the 2004 pin up calendars. I have proof of that also - in old e mails I saved. Then he had the nerve to send me an e mail stating, and I quote directly from the e mail he sent: "I am giving the position to another model from New Jersey..it appears that you have no real interest in helping my network like most of my models, and only care what comes to you!" Of course I'm in it for what comes to me! I pay for something and I expect to get it! I don't expect to be asked for more money! Today I was told I would not be refunded. I am with Meg and all the other who got ripped off and will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau this month.

Not True! W.I.S.H. is very honorable! Meg DID NOT follow very simple rules...we suggest that no one hire her

The model who has filed this complaint does not know how to read nor how to follow very simple instructions. First of all, EVERY MODEL that has signed a contract with us is GUARANTEED their Security Deposit paid back. All Meg has to do is send us an E-mail once a month, requesting her gross revenue shares. This is what she signed and agreed to. Every month, our models can receive their share check. We advise Meg to follow the simple instructions. Secondly, we object to saying that the fashions we send to models are cheap. They are top name brands like Old Navy, Gap, Tommy, Calvin, etc. and the models receive $289.00 retail value of clothes to model and KEEP for their own use. Third, we send a Free Digital Camera to our models who have requested one if they do not like the studio we send them to. Meg is complaining because we offered her WEEKLY ASSIGNMENT LISTINGS instead of MONTHLY..excuse me Meg, but it appears that we are giving you more than the contract guaranteed...most models would be thrilled to have assignments weekly, instead of monthly! Fourth, we guarantee to publish the models pictures EVERY WEEK on a major shopping network, which gives the models valuable print credits and experience and earning potential. Fifth, we give our models a Flash Portfolio, valued at $5,000 and costs $79 a month to maintain. Excuse me Meg, you did not send us the six pictures you wanted on the Flash Portfolio. Pretty silly not to take advantage of this. Once again you did not follow simple instructions. Sixth, we MAKE NO MONEY on your look by giving out all the benefits in the contract, in fact, we lose money unless your look sells, but you are still guaranteed your Gross Monthly Revenue Shares each month to pay back the fee. THUS, everything we do for you, overtime, is FOR FREE and very very generous. As far as being rude..hardly..we bend over backwards to make people happy..yet, there is always a bad apple..and it is true that 1 out of a 100 models signed with us are not happy and demand more than what we already are giving..or expecting us to make them rich and famous. Our goal is to honor the contracts terms and agreements. Meg started off with one Old Navy fashion..and, of course...complained about that..she complained about Olan Mills...seems to me she is a complainer. Best Wishes to all and if you have any questions about this report, just call me personally, I am always willing to help people.
