W.M Financial Group Scam, lottery winnings 0f $39,000.00 Nationwide
Receive same enticing letter as with Kristy's husband of Fort Drum , New York. This lettter is from The W.M. Financial Group stating I won $39,000.00 from a consumers lottery claim # PD80641, a cashiers check 0f $3,900.00 to pay the due tax, all the same MO, first notice sent of May 29,2008 to the deadline to claim money by Aug. 16, 2008.
The only difference is the phone # 1-905-598-1577 (Canada #) point of contact Jenna Springs or David Silver, called and spoke with Jenna Spings, informing me to deposit the $3,900.00 (The Huntington National Bank) and to call her back with further instruction to file for the winnings, and that sombody will contact me in the next 48 hours and that it will be deliverby UPS and I will require two ID cards to prove who I am.
Show the cashiers check to my bank personnel, they said it was counterfeit, next day reported it to the Fairfield Police Department, thank God I had more sense to check first.
