World Marketing Alliance's Unfair Collection Practices
I was an agent with the company and recieved commission for the duration of my employment. During those time, I recieved Advanced Earn Commission for policies I've writtened.
Advanced Earn Commission means an agent will recieved 30% of the premiums paid by the customer, the other 70% will be distributed evenly in eight months.
In an event the customer decides to cancel the policy within approximately 15 months, the agent will be deducted 120% of the total commission paid.
I understand this structure but WMA doesn't notified an agent when they decided to refer the agent to a collection agency. I recieved a nasty letter and a phone call by CRB Agency Services (WMA's exclusive collection agency) located in GA where WMA is headquartered.
This collection agent is the biggest a*****e and threatened me with lawsuits and things of that nature. I finally resolved the issue and paid the Advanced Charge Back. I contact other agents, and everyone told me the same thing.
