I wish to file a rebuttal/update to my situation with Wolfgang Research. Although I am still feeling a little in the dark about their insistence that my work was of poor quality & rejected by the client (??), I want to say a few things here. First of all, Jennifer did "everything" in her power to end my separating from their company on a pleasant and positive note. My final paycheck came today, I was paid 100% in full by Wolfgang Research. Jennifer's emails were speedy and she followed through with her promises and she was very professional in demeanor. I am happy about this but leaving this situation with a heavy heart, I really like collecting courthouse records. My new courthouse research job is so limited, only a few hours every other month. I also don't understand with my record of work accomplishments how in the world they rated my work on such a poor level. I studied, passed the exam, scoured endlessly over the examples & had the notes for each assignment in my face while at the courthouses, lol. I took my time & was meticulous about entering data. Some of the work was a little challenging at first (due to my inexperience---probate), however, some of the records were so easy to collect & the spreadsheets were self-explanatory, the work (i.e. marriage licenses) was more busy work than thinking type of work. In the end, I ended up disliking the high amount of hours & they ended up disliking what I submitted to them. I am a bit unhappy about some of the internal issues there, however, it is "their" company and quite frankly some of their decisions are managerial and they are entitled to run their company by their own wishes. Who has a job that they never are disgruntled with? Last, Jennifer told me she paid me with the company posting a loss. I'll take her at her word although I'll always feel in the dark about this job. I will admit it takes a certain type of person to do this work. I just wish I would have been able to withstand it because the work is there, lots of it and the pay really is decent pay. Signing off with best wishes for success to Wolfgang Research..T. M.

Honestly, I would not hold my breath on your last statement... except I would not be surprised if they do try to "make good" because they have been getting so many bad reports made on them. Even if they do the right thing, it does not negate the fact that they have wronged MANY, MANY people. Myself included. Over the time that I did work for them, I got charged so many late fees and other fees it's just ridiculous. I also continually lost assignments and was called a liar. Example- tax liens I had collected at one courthouse and sent them off on a particular day. The following week, I was told that I was either intentionally skipping liens (why would I do that as a single mother of three children? why on Earth would I intentionally skip collectable liens when I have mouths to feed?) or that I was completely incompetent, because there were 8 liens I did not enter. I had no clue as to what they were talking about so the next business day I went to the courthouse to try to figure out what happened. These liens that hey had in mind... were recorded at the courthouse between 4:15 and 4:25 pm, AFTER I had left the courthouse for the day. The REAL reason they took this, and most all other tax assignments from me, is because they found another cheaper way to get the records. So, instead of paying me .15 they could pay someone else .05. Hey, business is business, if there are more profitable ways to run your business then so be it. However, you should not make up lies and degrade your workers just to save a few cents.
Love the way they offer you an assignment and you accept it at one particular rate- probates at .50 for example- then over time they want more information without increasing the rate, then they lower the rate to .30! But of course you cannot then say you do not want the assignment at that rate because then you'll risk losing all your other assignments. Anyhow, I could go on and on and on.. but I've already wasted several years on this unscrupulous company. Suffice it to say, if you are researching Wolfgang for work, RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN AWAY. It's not worth it.

UPDATE TO MY INITIAL REPORT: Multiple emails have been exchanged between myself & Jennifer Hood. She has been very willing to review my submitted work. She has answered all of my emails and is showing an honest effort to pay me for 8 invoices. She has been very professional. However, I will hold my breath until I get paid. Wolfgang claims they terminated me due to my work lacking "quality." I have an email showing they brushed me off because I wouldn't do weekend rush assignments & they opted to replace me. I didn't resign, I even told them I couldn't work weekends. I have admitted to Jennifer that I only can work M-F & 9-5, that is what I tested for & was recruited for. What really bothers me is in mid-March I submitted invoices totalling $46.09. I was paid exactly $46.09. That means my work was 100% proficient (as a newbie,I might add). In early April I submitted 10 invoices totalling $156.20. I was paid $155.30. So, I was deducted 90 cents for work that didn't meet standards. This last time (mid-April), I submitted 8 invoices totalling $169.13. I am expecting to get paid "all" but a little bit. I will say this, I own, run & operate my own retail business and have done so for 15 years. I decided to work a job outside of the home, thus, I studied & tested for courthouse researching. I have a specialized business college degree. Recently, "everything" I've tested for, I tested at a 90-99% proficiency rate. I have been hired & am currently working my business + 4 part-time jobs. I am very marketable. My specialty is English, grammar & researching. The companies I am working for are 100% happy with my work & my accuracy. It seems "odd" to me that when one of this company's project leads did nothing but praise my spreadsheets/records "and" my invoicing, that "now" there are all kinds of "issues" with the work & records I submitted. Even though it didn't work out, Wolfgang "has" an ethical obligation to pay me for my work. I even offered to go back to the courthouses & correct any correctable work (that is if there is any). I went one week with "no" work before all **** broke loose with these people. I had "all" of my assignments up to date & I ran my retail business that week. I want to give Wolfgang the benefit of the doubt so that I can move on with my life, get what I am entitled to ($169.13) and revise my report and allow this company to redeem themselves in my eyes "and" to prove to all the other complaints that have been posted on this website that Wolfgang "is" reputable........time will tell (June 4th according to Jennifer)......................... :)
