If you were considering hiring Nolan Navlet of Woodworks Log Restoration you have just won the lottery of good luck as i have saved you the misery of having to deal with the carnage left behind by this hack. He cut through major wiring circuits with his chainsaw...and instead of hiring an electrician or even reading a book to fix it right...he just taped it together and stuffed back between 2 logs...nearly burned my house down.
Instead of repair the rot...he covered it up and would have wound up destroying a million dollar home had it not been discovered. He also loosely attched massive 150 lb log end tails to the house with tiny wood screws...one nearly fell off and killed an entire family. He was paid 35k to do his work...now it will costs 100k plus just to fix his damages.
Nolan must be the worst contractor i have seen in my 3 decades as a builder. He ought to be in jail...let alone getting paid to destroy your most precious possessions.
