Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Employers by the handful with nasty supervisors, poor management, and rude to their employees you can find this in United States by the dozens. But when you look for jobs that are supposedly work from home you might feel that you don't have to put up with this anymore.

Wrong, I found this company who does not charge a fee for their jobs, But, they are the rudest people you ever want to deal with. Just take a look at the website there are ads and jobs offered by google, then their descriptions of the many job training and jobs offerred.

Remember this company is located in Ottawa Ontario Canada, they claim to have soooooh many jobs, if you can understand how to get in their complicated website. First, you sign up to become a member then you get to see the jobs, after you read their job listings, go to the bottom of the website page and read the nasty paragraph about how they are not going to be dealing with prima donna's, I am not a prima donna, but the nerve to post something like this, I guess only in Canada, this may be removed after they read this, but I thought how rude. Their website is very confusing and misleading if you can ever get to site where jobs are offered you will see this at the end of the job listings. They have millions of testimonials of good praise but I did not have that same experience.

I submitted my information and got a response from the Licorice Group, boy what a group of unprofessional, mean and rude people, the Vice Presidents name was also on the email someone by the name of Monin Stevens, (smile). Anyways if you want to be treated with no respect, no brains, and an animal you can go physically, go to work in the United States and work at a many of jobs none listed. But to work from home companies WE DEMAND THE RESPECT, treat people like you want to be treated is all I have to say.

P.S. I can see why your database is running over with open jobs, in Canada.

Hi Terrie My name is Sylvie Fortin. I am the owner of Workaholics4Hire.com and I thank you for the chance to see what your experience has been, and post my response. After reading this, I ran a search on our database, hoping to find any record of any job application you may have submitted, or communication you may have had with my staff. I wasn't able to locate anything based on your name, so I'm at a loss to help with your specific concerns. However, I am able to respond to the general concern you have about the way I wrote the "how to apply for work at home jobs" section for members of the site. It may not help alleviate your frustration, but it is my hope that we can work together to resolve any remaining problems you may have with us. In the meantime, I would dearly like to clear up some misconceptions about how we do our hiring. When you say "nasty paragraph about how they are not going to be dealing with prima donna's", I believe you are referring to the page that immediately follows the "Become a Member...Free" page, here: http://www.workaholics4hire.com/Pop_Work-at-Home-Jobseeker-Quick-Start-02.htm This is the page I wrote to help applicants understand some of the "behind the scenes" issues we often deal with. On this page, I wrote... "Whenever we bring in new talent, there is a testing time, where we can see whether or not there is a long-term working relationship possible. We aren't interested in fly-by-night contractors who aren't willing to take direction. We aren't interested in prima donnas who think they know everything. We're interested in good, solid, hard workers who understand that in this industry, the client's needs come first, and the contractor's personal lives come second. For anyone to successfully work with us on a long term basis (which is what we want), we need to have an understanding about what is expected of everyone." This paragraph was written for a reason. I will always be blunt and honest, as this is the only way I know how to communicate. I can see that my choice of wording didn't appeal to you, and I can definitely understand that. But there are reasons the words were chosen, which I will explain here. As you know, Workaholics4Hire has never charged anyone any fees to work at home for us. This has always been our strict motto since 1999. We'll never change this policy. We are also one of the few websites with a free work at home jobs database that is constantly updated with jobs we find in our web travels. I pay someone to constantly search the job boards, filter out the garbage, and post links to real work at home jobs found online. We will never charge a fee for this research either. It has always been done as a free public service, at our own cost. The problem is that this has often resulted in being overwhelmed with applications for jobs working for us. This is, for the most part, a result of being one of the few 100% telecommuting firms online today. As you can imagine, we receive over 100 applications every day, many of which are not qualified for the position applied for. Over the years, we have received well over a million emails and job requests from all over the world, and this has cost me over $100,000 just paying staff to filter all of it and try and find the gems who will be reliable, consistent, and great to work with. We have many gems working with us, and Mornin Stevens is definitely one of them. She has been on the front lines for many years and is a valuable freelancer with us. Since I cannot check the history of your emails with her, I have no idea what she said that upset you so much. I'll be happy to look into it and see if we can figure it out together. I've never known her to be rude, in spite of the fact that I have seen the kinds of emails she gets sometimes full of nasty venom, and even then, she has always replied kindly and professionally. If you've had a different experience, please do let me know. When I first started hiring people from home, back in 1999, I threw open my doors and was the only person dealing with the flood of emails asking me to hire them. It didn't take long to become seriously overwhelmed. So, I hired people to help with the hiring and filtering process. One thing I must say is that it has been a disappointing and frustrating experience most of the time. Statistically, only 30% of the applications we receive seem to read the job description and appear somewhat qualified for the job. Of those we have actually retained to complete tasks, fewer than 30% actually completed the work they were assigned and promised they would do. Of those who actually complete the task assigned, fewer than 50% complete the task within their own stated deadline. These are alarming statistics, and very unfortunate, as it has made us quite reluctant to hire new people. We have so much work to do that our golden staff are often completely overwhelmed and need to work 12-16 hour days, every day, just to keep up with the volume. So, having said all that, please understand that it was never my intention to be rude when I wrote the list of "qualifiers". It was written in an attempt to weed out the applications from people who treated our site like a "work at home job free for all", giving no thought or consideration for the hard working staff who are behind the scenes. Terrie, I do apologize for the misconception that we are rude people. We aren't. We're just overwhelmed and frustrated because we have had to deal with far too many people who aren't really interested in working from home. Rather, they want the magic button they can push that will send them checks for breathing. Please do get in touch directly at any time. Our customer support email address is [email protected] and we would be pleased to assist with any questions you may have. Thank you again for posting this and allowing us the opportunity to respond publicly and clear up any miscommunication between us. We wish you the best of success in your future endeavors! Sylvie
