EDitor's UPDATED info 2-20-04: Rip-off Report is still receiving complaints that they are not receiving the refunds as promised. Rip-off Report has been in contact with the Company and has made them aware of these issues. They have assured us that refunds are being given to those who are providing them with all the correct contact information requested by them. They have also provided confirmation/proof of over 2,600 refunds to date, on a spreadsheet, and Rip-off Report staff called and verified more than a dozen consumers at random, all very pissed off, but, they all did get their refund. The company again apologized for the delay and reported that credit to your account could take as long as 4-5 days. As we understand it, this company only does the processing for all the other companies, so they are at the mercy of those companies funds, further delaying your refund.

Rip-off Report is hoping they will live up to what they have promised, we think they will, ..we'll see. We will continue to investigate more into this situation, and we will eventually post an UPDATE to the main Report at this web address: https://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=76605

I recieved a call stating that i was eligible for a unsecured Visa Credit Card. I would have to pay $299 and that would cover all my fee's and I would never have to pay another annual fee again.

The $299 was taken out of my account 1/16/04.

I called customer service to see where my card was and they explained that I would receive it by 2/13/04.

2/13/04 called customer service, explained that i did not recieve my card. Representative stated I would not recieve my card until 2/20/04. I then asked to speak to manage/supervisor, Mr. Kyle Reeves, explained that my (package) would be received by 2/20/04. When i receive my package I would need to sign the credit card agreement and then my card would be shipped to me. also explained that if i do not recieve this (package) by february 20th to call back.

called customer service on 2/19/04 to check status of package, explained that i would not recieve package until first week in march.

i called 2/20/04 to speak to manager/supervisor Mr. Kyle Reeves, representative requested as to why I needed to speak to him. explained he told me to call back by this date if i did not recieve my package. She (susan) stated that my package was due to arrive 2/23/04. She gave me fed ex tracking #.

I called fed ex to see where package was, and it was delived to my home 2/20/04.

Package was full of misc. papers, only information of a credit card was for a load card, you have to pay before you use the card.

2/20/04 6:30 pm called customer services, asked for rep's name, she hung up.

2/20/04 6:47 pm called customer services, on hold then hang up.

2/20/04 7 pm called customer services, rec'd a recording stated of business hours.

I will continue to keep contacting customer services. It seems that the rip off artist take from those that can not afford to lose money.

How can I fix this issue. What do I do?
