You can call your bank to have the credit card charges removed. Tell them you did not authorize the additional 3 charges and that they are duplicates. The bank will be able to see that they are the same amount within a short period of time. Most banks will give a 'provisional' credit to your account, which means if they verify that it is accurate, it will be added back to your account later. You may have to speak with a supervisor at the bank to get the credit. Depends on how helpful the bank's customer service is. I had a problem like this paying a bill online where I got an error message that indicated my payment wasn't accepted. I put it through again and then noticed that I was $322.00 negative in what I owed the company. I had made a $322 payment twice. Even though this was my fault, I still got the provisional credit because the bank could see it was made within minutes of the first payment.
