I had Worldcom and dealt with their screwed up billing which was running months behind. When I called to cancel after my yearly contract was up, I was told it would go through without a problem ( March-9,01). The person didn't put it through and I received extra bills. Then I found out that I payed one bill too many for a period I no longer had activity for as the bills were months behind the billing periods. After multiple calls, I was told it was straightened out and I would receive a refund check ( Aug-14,2001). Then they said no, that I had a 2 year contract!! I had to fax them my contract 3 times to prove it was one year. Then they were again ready to send me a check. Then the delay was that I had to wait for the credit to show up ( Sep-26,2001). Then I was again told that I would now get the check ( Jan 31,2002). Now they are saying no, that it is denied ( they didn't even call to say so). They say I only have a credit and they will not reimburse me the over payment ( March-8,2002). As I will never go back to them, what good is that. This started in March of 2001 and is still going on now. They owe me $45.89 and are still playing games after a year!!! My girlfriend had problems with them as well and found their customer service to be as pathetic as I did. She even had one woman yell at her. This is how you run a business??
