Worldwide Financial Services Dba Group Of Publishers Sweepstakes International lottery, winner, $85000, check for $2400 Kelowna British Columbia
I received a letter and a check stating I had won the international lottery in Las Vegas, Nevada. I had three weeks to contact them or cash the check I received or I would forfeit the winnings of $85,000. I have never been to Las Vegas, I don't play the lottery. The check is drawn on Citizens Property Insurance Corporation out of Florida. There is a company that exists with this name but they are in home mortgages and such.
The letter states to contact Mrs. Helen Blake at 1-403-383-3510. This is the same Helen, just different last name, as the other international sweepstakes scams.
THe check is to cover fees to process the winning. It just gets your bank information.
The address in Canada does not check out to any business and neither does the name Worldwide Financial Services. The Group of Publishers Sweepstakes does with mail/check/lottery scams.
