I went to a 90 minute presentation about how to receive discounted travel. I travel 3 times a year on cruises or going to Disney and that was important to me. I asked specific questions about the discounts I would receive for both of them.

I asked the sales rep specific information about Animal Kingdom Lodge and cruises. I was told by him and I believe his name was Phillip that I could stay in Animal Kingdom Lodge for as low as 399 up tp 899 nfor a week stay. I was also told that when I cruise I would receive a rebate. Princess cruises I would receive a 20% rebate and Royal Carribean I would receive a 15% rebate. Which were all not true.

So I paid 3995 plus fees totaling 4500 to join this fabulous travel club. I waited for my password which I was told I should get by Saturday May 2nd. I did not get the password until Tuesday May 6th. How convient my 3 day rescind period was over.

I signed on and started to do my research and there was nothing for the Disney Animal Kingdom. I called the so called concierge service and guess what there is nothing available for the price that I was given. I asked about the rebates on the cruises and I was told you would be lucky if you get a 5% rebate on any of your cruises.

I contacted the Welcome Center and a very nice manager Lynn was trying to help me. She sent off an email to the corporate office on May 6th. They just responded to her and told her I could not cancel nothing they can do. I have been trying for almost a month to talk to someone from World Wide Travel Destinations and how funny no one can give me a number. They have no problem taking my money but no way to contact them directly.

I was given false information from all the sales reps that were there and now that they have my money no one wants to talk to me.

This company is a rip off. They gave me all wrong information waited until my 3 day period was over. I only go on cruises and Disney and the company just tells you whatever you want to hear to get your money.

If I was getting something in rerurn I would not mind paying that kind of money. They should be backing up what their sales reps are stating. They give you a free cruise which I sent out on the 31st of April and still I have heard nothing about that either.

Please do not spend this kind of money on these people. It is a ripoff and when you call to book a cruise or air fare you will get the same price that the Cruise companies offer if you do it online. Also the air fare is cheaper if you do it yourself on Southwest.

I hope this will help people not to fall into the same trap that I did. I am so sick over this. Also if you are going to do it make sure you have what you are looking for in writing because if you don't you lose/

I posted this and somehow I received a call. I had just booked a cruise with another travel agent at a rate that I thoufgt was cheaper. They would not cancel my membership or refund my 4500 but they did offer to pay for the cruise that I booked. At least they were willing to try and make restitution. At least I finally got to talk to someone. I am just glad I finally talked to some one from World Wide Travel.
