On September 11, 2018 I sent a ring to Worthy.com for possible sale. I had previously received an offer from a local jewler but was trying to get the most money for the ring. Worthy asked if they could remove the center stone for appraisal, I agreed as long as it would be reset after. I have the e-mail from Emma Duffy (employee) agreeing to the resetting of the stone.
On September 23, 2018 I received notice that the ring was eligible for "quick sale" and instructions to click a link. I did and received a VERY low offer. I declined the offer and requested that my ring be sent back to me. I received an e-mail from Josh Robbins that someone would contact me "soon".
I had heard nothing from Worthy and not received my ring. On October 18, 2018 I contacted them again asking for my ring to be returned. I received no response.
On October 25, 2018, I again sent an e-mail asking for the return of my ring. This time I did state that if the ring was not returned I would file a police report and contact my State Attorney General's office and file a formal complaint. You cannot keep someone's property if they decline your offer and have asked for the return of the property.
