   Beware if you even browse I friends.com. I was checking out a "free club" Taylo. Stev... on Ifriends but you have to register using a credit card to prove you're an adult. You are promised it is free the whole time but they have a lot of hidden charges.



1.The first hurtle is that they try to sneak an extra membership you don't want but that was caught.



2. Then you are told if you want to browse other clubs or chatgroups you will be told if there is a charge and you will be given a warning and option to click for your approval.



3.But they also give you a few free min to browse also. 



4.Then it gets tricky even if you cancel your membership it's only for the club you were supposed to get for free not the whole network (ifriends)hosting the club.



 5. It is better to call the 24/7 number given to make sure you weren't charged for anything you're not aware of and that all hidden memberships are also canceled and that you get credit. The customer service was accomodating but we'll see if all the credits were applied on my next bill.



6. If that doesn't work then just call your credit card company and tell them you called the customer service which promised that you would get a credit even though you did cancel your "free membership". You have to say that you did try to resolve the charge and what you were promised before the credit card company will dispute the charges for you.



7. It's a shame that some companies feel like they have to trick and cheat people like the early days of the internet when it's so easy to provide a decent service instead of being considered as a rip off.

We have not been able to find Jims account based on his Ripoffreport, but we would like to address his concerns to the extent that we can.  Our customers satisfaction is our number one priority.      

 

The iFriends service clearly states which areas are free and which areas cost money.  Before you are ever charged, you are presented with a price confirmation page.  If you want to receive the services listed, you must agree to the price presented by clicking through that price confirmation page.  Nothing is hidden or secret.    

 

Also, you can choose at any time to cancel part or all of your account.  We make this very easy you can cancel by sending us an email (to cancel [at] ifriends [dot] net), by using our online cancellation feature (go to http://www.ifriendsv2.net/ifpage.dll?t=site/general/customerservice/cancel/cancel), or by calling us at 1-800-243-9726.

 

If Jim is not happy with his time on our service or with something we have done, we want to hear from him!  We will do our best to make it right.  Jim since we could not find your account, we dont know what refunds or credits you are expecting.  If you dont get what you expected as a result of your conversation with Customer Care, please give us a call back (at 1-800-243-9726) and ask to speak to a supervisor.
