Using the information that Mazo provided on RipOffReport, we located his account with iFriends. Mazo contacted our Customer Care department shortly before he posted his RipOffReport, and requested that all of the charges be refunded. The Customer Care representative refunded all of the charges and cancelled the account, as Mazo had requested. The refunds were processed by Mazo's bank the next day, and he should have already seen these refunds in his account. If Mazo has not received the refunds from his bank, we urge him to contact his bank and ask them to immediately deposit the refunds to his account. The account with the iFriends service was created by someone who had complete knowledge of Mazo's personal information, including his credit card number, billing address, and email address. This person accessed and subscribed to premium areas of the service, which resulted in Mazo being charged monthly. As mentioned above, the charges were refunded and the account cancelled at the time of Mazo's call.
