We sincerely apologize for any misimpression that Dana may have about our services and our company. Our "Customer is Always Right" policy ensures that we take action sufficient to provide each customer with complete satisfaction, including making refunds for any charges which a customer has incurred but disputes. Shortly after Dana posted her complaint, she contacted our Customer Care Department and requested that the account be closed. A Customer Care Representative closed the account and refunded all charges which were billed. We appreciate her contacting us directly to resolve this matter. The iFriends account was created by someone who had complete knowledge of Dana's personal information, including the credit card number, billing address, and email address. This person created a VIP membership, which resulted in Dana being charged a monthly fee of $6.95. As mentioned above, we have refunded those charges. We have also blocked the information used so that Dana's information cannot be used on our site in the future. Our company has a spotless 11-year-record with all of the leading consumer protection agencies, and we are an industry leader in the development of model online consumer best practices. Every one of our web services is verified by TRUSTe to be on its sealholder list of "the most trustworthy online businesses."

It was done through my Paypal debit card. As an Ebay seller, I have many transactions on that account, and I rarely go to the Paypal site to look as any payments or receipt of money gets emailed to me.

Don't you check your statement every month? Perhaps you should. That way, if something strange is on the statement, you could take care of it right away.
