World Benefits Ripoff of promise of credit card for service payment of $299.00 I never recieve the card promised and the run around in getting card and money back Never got either Champlain New York
in early 2003 ireceived a phone call regard getting a $7500 limit credit card that would rebuild my credit for only a start up fee of $299.00. i did call back to the company within three days to ask for a cancellation that i had changed my mind. However,they still took the money out of my account and all i received as a package from them 20 days after withdrawal of my money. this package did not have anything in it that I could not have gotten from the library. i started to call the 866=260-6166 number only to be kept on hold for over an hour at a time to only be told that the paperwork would be coming for the card because they could not send both at the same time. i never received any paperwork or a card. i then started a nighmare of phone calls to the Customer Service department to only be kept on hold forever and when I did get ahold of someone they were rude and told me that the money was nonrefundable. Mostly that i was stuck and i could do nothing about it. i did write the better business department both at state and federal level but i never got anything back.
i feel that i was ripped off not only my money but my trust.
i would really like to get my money back as i should have in the first place.

World Benefits has disconnected their contact number of: 866-260-6166 so no one can no longer get a hold of them to complain. Also, the email address I had of [email protected] has also been discontinued. **See REFUND INFO BELOW
