Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have been with WRProfessionals for 3 years.  Over the years I have learned that they do not tolerate mistakes of any kind.  Even when I was new and fresh out of training they would go off over the smallest mistakes.  I have also learned that they don't care about their researchers.  Be it a death in the family, car trouble, even court closings - they want their records on time no exceptions.

I still enjoyed my time there.  When I decided to leave, I gave about 3 weeks notice.  They hadn't found a replacement so I told them I would stay a while longer.  I was actuallly rethinking my decision to leave and thinking about staying part time.  I had some personal issues and couldn't make my submissions one week.  Being a lead and being with the company for 3 years, yes I expected some leeway.

What I got was emails saying I was going to be charged late fees -I was fine with that, the next email said my pay was going to be held -ok, I knew something was up then, the third email said I was up for termination the following week- I figured I wasn't going to be getting paid anything for the work I did the last month.

So, I quit.  I am not working for free.  I sent an email a few weeks after I left and asked what I needed to do to receive my last payment and I was told that basically I wasn't doing my job right and my project was a mess so I wasn't getting any of the money owed to me.  Granted I already knew they were getting over on me and was going to get out of paying me.  The fees I don't agree with but ok, take out your fees.  I was only asking for the balance after the fees.

I realize now that late fees and termination fees (leaving without a 2-week notice) are made up.  They try to pay their people as little as possible so they make up these fees to pocket more money.  Not getting my last pay wasn't what hurt the most.  It was the fact that I have been loyal to them for 3 years, told how good of a job I did repeatedly - from the company and the client - and then to get out of paying me, I'm told that I wasn't doing my job right and the researchers basically weren't trained right and that my project was a mess.

If this were true, and it's not - I was trained by WRP to become lead, everything I passed on to the researchers came from the company.  I was told by the client what the researchers needed to collect and I have been a lead for 2 years with no complaints.  They could have thought of a better lie to tell me to get out of paying me.

You are absolutely correct Melissa....or as they like to say Ms. Melissa.  No they aren't a scam, and yes you get paid as long as you follow the specifications.  But watch out when you try to leave. Then they are rude, snide and downright nasty.

But....just like my name appears on this rebuttal......what goes around comes around. You better believe that it's coming too.
