www.boardshortsworld.com is an Internet retailer of USA-made boardshorts and beachwear capris and similar garments. The company is not accessible by phone, but only e-mail or fax. Orders placed on the Internet are charged to the customer's credit card the day the order is placed. The product itself does not ship for up to 7 business days after the credit card is charged and is not received by the customer for up to 12 business days shipping to a USA address. Products returned to www.boardshortsworld.com are not credited back to the customer's credit card for up to 15 business days even when the product itself has been in the retailer's possession for at least 10 of those business days. Unlike competitive Internet-based retailers who do not charge the customer until the product actually ships, www.boardshortsworld.com takes immediate of possession of the consumer's funds, delays delivery of product, and holds customer's funds hostage longer, though they have received the product back in to their possession well before they post a refund.
