After calling my Nationstar, ( my mortgage company) to get the correct address to send my insurance claim check overnight, I called 2 days later to make sure they received it, I was told, it went to the wrong address, and that it should have been sent to Ohio instead of Texas. (my mortgage company is in Texas) But not to worry, they would have it transferred to them, but it would take 5 - 7 days before they receive it.  I waited. Finally, I called, they said they haven't received it yet but they would expedite the transfer. After another week passed, I called them again.  They said they received the check, but I would have to have a final inspection done to my property and then the check would be released after 2 days.  They said some one in my area would call to set up the inspection, but instead. I received the check in the mail UN-ENDORSED. stating I must endorse the check. I did, and sent it back. The inspection was completed 2 weeks ago. They are saying they will cut a check for me and it would take 7 - 10 days to receive it.  I asked why would they cut a check for me, the check I sent them is my check, SEND IT BACK.  Then they said something about putting it escrow.  I told them not to put it in escrow, that is my check it does not belong to them, send it back.  It has now been close to 2 months. I have not received my check as of this date.
