I have Stage 3 Brain Cancer, I started receiving my SSI checks in the amount of $449.34 about 6 months ago.



In Feb. 2010 I noticed something wrong with my account. The balances looked wrong.



In the beginning of the month I received my normal deposit but the balances still didn't jive. I spent most of the month in bed, ill. Just let it go by. In March I still noticed it and started asking questions. I was immediately shut down by the customer service department. They had every excuse in the book. I can't tell you anything about your account except for the past 10 days. I don't have internet access and can't see what you are seeing, I don't have a supervisor. I don't have a fax, I don't have an email address to send any proof I had to anyone but a mailing address. This could take up to 6 weeks to clear up. I live day to day on minimal funds. What the hell did they do with my money. I called Social Sec. and they said they didn't show any funds being taken back on their end that it was Direct Express. Someone at Direct Express has taken my money or made a data entry error they refuse to correct.



I have not used my card since March 11th 2010. I cancelled it and pulled out every thing they made available to me at that time. My april statement came and there my balance is again. $449.64. Do you think I can touch it or access it. NOPE! Direct Express and all 8 of the reps I spoke to including a Bogus EXT. 5027 to a Kevin, does not work. I doubt there is an attorney out there that would fight for such a small amount.

It's all internet and over the phone and you can't bypass any of the walls they have in place. Social Security isn't allowed to talk to them and they aren't allowed to talk to Social Security. They send you on a wild goose chase.  I'm so mad right now- I could just scream after the phone calls, multiple I have wasted trying to get through to anyone of upper management with control.  The fat man who ever he is is sitting pretty with my funding. Enjoy it! You bunch of gov't idiots.

It's now been 5 weeks and I still haven't heard back by letter or by phone from Direct Express. I just mailed a certified letter...this should be good.
