I want to share our Las Vegas experience with you. My wife and I made our first trip to Vegas on July 21 this year. We only had 3 days to travel so we only had one full day in town. We were looking forward to a trip to Hoover dam on our Monday. We got snagged by someone at the Wyndham desk at the Flamingo hotel Sunday night promising a trip to the dam the next day. We made it very clear that we only had the one day and would be leaving Tuesday morning.

We met as agreed Monday morning at 8:30 am not having any idea what we were in for. We spent 4 hours getting shuffled from one sales person to the next, and by 12:30 pm, after we declined to make a large investment without due diligence, we were sent down a lonely hall only be told that a trip to Hoover dam was too late, and we would have to settle for meal vouchers, which we would not have time to fully use. My wife walked out literally in tears. We then were sent out to find our way back to the hotel on our own, with our vacation ruined by these people.

To get to Las Vegas and back home took 24 hours of our time and the entire trip was flushed down the toiled by the Wyndham people. Thank you for your time to read this. It would be my hope that this message may prevent another family from falling victim to this scam. If someone approaches you from Wyndam with a bargain, don't walk away, RUN!

Wyndham timesharepresentations are hardcore and very long-lasting, people are usually pressured and bullied into buying a timeshare. The company has been sued in federal court several times by many wyndham timeshare owners for committing wrongs in their vacation credits, such as breach of contract, violation of California’s Timeshare Act and breach of fiduciary duty, among others. Another common complaint is that maintenance and assessment fees increase very constantly; to the point lots of timeshare owners are no longer able to keep paying them. Many of them decide to stop paying, which is a huge mistake, being that their debt is taken to a collection agency and it ends up affecting their credit score very badly.

This story is shaky at best.

1st off anytime anyone is approached in the field from an OPC booth they are told excatly what they have to do and  what to expect. With that being said they do not have to purchase anything also anytime someone checks into the front counter of any timeshare company wither it the above mentioned or any one else they are TOLD its a 90-120 minute sales presentation. They know excatly what to expect and not to mention all time share companies give them the chance to leave without being gifted if they do not want to tour ?

These folks were looking for Free gifts and nothing more. The above company did NO Wrong in this matter. These folks  chose to do this and Knew what to expect.
