Why would you wait 5 months to return to have a problem corrected. You can't expect the empoyees at the store to remember both you and the conversaations that take place from 5 months ago. They said they'd fix the problem for free and all you had to do was to take it there. First it was your respondibility as a consumer to verify you were happy with the product when you picked it up which you didn't do, and secondly you have a responsibility to return it within a reasonable time for the correction. That employee could have even no longer been an employee after 5 months. I've been a customer at 2 of their locations for years and know that they will correct any issue within reason. Returning after 5 months to present something to be corrected that very well could have been due to daily wear over 5 moths is not reasonable. The customer does bear some responsibility in these matters.
