I am a senior citizen 68 years young (Never say old, lol) 

I am tired of calling Yonkers Kia I leave messages and no one calls me in a timely manner. They charge me for work not performed. I go there  for my regular maintenance work very 5,000 miles or so. I have a Kia Sedona, 2005. The Service Manager is ED. The General Manage is Mr. Oliva. I having been dealing with the service advisor Elizabeth Monge. 

I file a complaint with the BBB. I filed a complaint with the DMV also. They seemed to be ripping off the public with their service department. 

I took my car to them on 7/20/2017 regualar maintenace. My car was tow to them. I could not start my car that morning. I called road side assistance from my insurance company. (Geico) They said got me going. I went to (((REDACTED))) for them to tell me if I needed a battery. They ran a test that said I need a speed sensor light replacement. 2 days later I get stuck again, the car won't start. I call Geico again Road Side Assistance. This time they could not jump start my car. They said this time I needed a STARTER. I Yonkers Kia to informed them that I am bringing in my car. I got there. I left my car there. I told them that I (((REDACTED))) said I needed a speed sensor light replaced and that Geico said I needed a STARTER.

They did a diagnostic test and concluded that they were wrong. I did not need a STARTER and that I did not need a Speed Senor light replaced. Can you believe that? But that what I did need was the gasoline Cover (not the cap) relaced since it had broken off and needed to be relaced. They wanted $117.00 I said ok do it. But I questioned them about the Speed Sensor and the STARTER again. Are you sure I do not need them. "Yes Sir Ms Monge (Service Advisor) said. How can that be?

I was scheduled to go on vacation to Puerto Rico with my family on the day they said come over to pick up your car. I had a 8pm flight. I went to pick up my car after 5pm and the service department was closed but they sald go next building over and the sales Manager will release your car to you. I went and was told my car they could not find my car. I waited over one hour and half. I complaint what is going on? You guys said my car was ready for pick. Finally I got my car and since it was late and I had to get to the air port. I did not check the gasoline cover. When I got home and parked the car. I notice that the gasoline COVER was WHITE!!! My car is all RED. I had no time to call them to complaint. I left that night to Puerto Rico. But they moment I landed I called the Service Part Manager (ED) How can you release my car to me if it was not ready? I said. Well Mr. Del Toro They wanted to changer us $175.00 to paint the cover and that was too expensive. I said WHAT? You charged me $117.00 to replace the gasoline cover did you not? It has to be the same color of my car. I could not believer my ears. (Rip OFF) no doubt about it I thought. He said bring the car back to us when you get back Mr. Del Toro. I agree to pay them $50.00 instead to paint the cover knowing this is wrong for them to charge me again. 

So when I get back from Puerto Rico and I got back on a Friday night, Saturday morning I go to my car to take the car back to Yonkers Kia and my car would not start. OH No I said to myself. This people are Ripping me OFF. I call them and complaint that my car doesn't start. I call Geico again for Road Side Assistance. They said it's your STARTER. You need a STARTER. I told them Yonker's Kia said I did not need a STARTER!! So these people never performed the Diagnostic they said they did performed. 

I take the car back and they said we will change TECHNICIANS this time Mr. Del Toro and do another Diagnostic test. Well they did and this time they said.... I am sorry but you do need a New STARTER and YOU Do need a Speed Sensor Light replaced. What are you kidding me. You told me last week I do not need them!!  Any way. I complaint about the color of the gasoline COVER again. They said it's on us NO CHARGE.  Ok I said. So that want overr $1,000 for the STARTER and the Speed Sensor light. I complaint again. They got it down to $687.00. I paid it and got my car but by the way Mr. Del Toro Ms. Elizabeth Monge said you have a large bump on you back passenger tier that needs to be replace. I said ok

So problem #2 They charge me for a Tier Rotation on 7/20/2017 and they saw how damage the tier was and never said that it was defective and let me drive away putting my family's life in danger. I have the bill and it saids the tier are ok.Yet this time when I took the car back they told me a different story. I took the car to a Flat Fix dealer and it was very damaged and all the wirings were showing on the tier and the bump was so bad it scare me to see that the dealer said to me take your car it is ready for pick up. I paid $35.00 to have it replaced. I called them to complaint again to the service manager ED telling him you charge me for a tier rotation and YOU DID NOT DO A TIER ROTATiON because if you would have you would have notice the damage. Why did you charge me and put my life in jeopardy. He could not explain and change the conversation on me. I said i need to report this to your GEN. MANAGER what is he's name. MR. OLIVA. Tell me OLIVA to call me please. To this date I have not heard from Mr. OLIVA or MR. ED or Ms. Elizabetth Monge. No one has call me back to address my concerns. So I took action and I have filed this Rip Off Report compalint with you. Hopefully, The public will protect themselves and they need to be made aware that Yonkers Kia  are taking advantage of Senior Citizens and possibliy the general public.
