The site your-poc.com supposedly offers you access to overseas civilian contracting jobs. The fee to utilize this service is $30/month which is quite high. The service however leaves much to be desired. For starters most of the postings on the site that you click on are no longer job openings at their respective employer's websites. Almost half of them stated they were filled positions.

To make matters worse the site is made using wordpress which in itself is not bad but they chose to implement a wordpress plugin called s2members. This plugin is used to handle memberships. However, there's an option which for some strange reason the site owners decided to use which restricts content to a limited number of unique IP addresses. That means that if you have multiple devices such as an Ipad, phone, computer at work, or home computer, you will reach the threshold of unique IP addresses allowed to access the content on the site. You will be met with a

"503: Service Temporarily Unavailable

Too many IP addresses accessing one secure area!

Please contact Support if you need assistance."

This page doesn't tell you who to contact or anything. It's a generic error that the plugin generates. I scoured the website and found their service desk email [email protected]. I attempted to contact them to which I received an immediate generated email stating they have 24/7 support and will be with me soon. However, several days passed and I received no response back. The site has been accessible to me less days than it has been accessible to me since I've paid.

When researching this error here at the plugin creator's website s2member.com/forums/topic/503-service-temporarily-unavailable/ it states that the plugin has an option which admins have decided to turn on an option which limits the amount of unique IPs that can access paid content. This would make sense for a one time deliverable such as music, an ebook, a video, etc. However, for a service in which the user will constantly need to log into multiple times from potentially multiple devices as a person who applies for jobs typically would this limitation is ridiculous. And what if I have a wife that I want to log in and help me apply for position? They're limiting me from letting her or anyone else I chose to access my account and apply?

This is typical behavior of an organization that tries so dearly to protect their product that they put lockdown digital rights management on their product but at the paying customer's expense. Which will result in less paying customers or a dissatisified customer experience.

Therefore, with this being said I feel this service is not worth it. $30/month is expensive for outdated job postings and limited ability to use the product due to this unnecessary feature. Lastly, one can use indeed.com, monster.com, ziprecruiter.com, clearancejobs.com, all of which are free and with the correct key words yield civilian contracting jobs. And those sites do a better job to ensure that the listings are still active and available and most of all they are free. I do not recommend this site what so ever. It is not worth it at all and their lack of customer service does not help at all.
