Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I called this car dealer place " Subaru of Claremont" for 2 reasons the first because I was looking for a vehicle, and the second because they say " No matter what your credit we have 100% financing guaranteed".So I call them and I ask them about certain vehicles in which I was interested and the come back with ridiculous prices down, so I tell the sales guy Zack what I have to put down and what kind of vehicle I am looking for thinking this would be easier, and he told me give me a couple of minutes and I will call you back. Well I waited the whole day for him to call me back and nothing, I would call them at 9:00am the next day and they would say " give me a few minutes and I will call you back" well I gave them hours ( 5 hours to be exact) and then I would be the one calling them back. Then Zack would have every excuse on why he didn't call, the best one " I was waiting for my boss to finish with another sales person, we are 15 sales people here and he is only one person dealing with us all" Then he tells me I found you a car, its a 2001 Jetta, 5 speed , with 112000 miles on it, and would say "NO" I want a car that is going to last me a while not one that is going to be in the shop right after I drive it off the lot, just because I don't have much money I don't think its fair I m only aloud s**t boxes. I would then find some on the computer and tell Zack about them and ask him to work the numbers for me, he would say okay, the next day I would again be the one calling him to see what he has found out, and he would say " well, my boss says we can do it for $2800.00 down and $490.00 a month" Well I say I can't do that much down, so I said let me see what else I can do I will think about and call you back. Then next morning I called and Zack was again busy, so I left a message with Pete saying how about $2400.00 down that's all I can do in my situation, and he told me I would get a call back SOON, Well 4 1/2 hours later my husband called back and he was told no too that deal it was not possible and my husband asked " Why can't this work, for there is only $400.00 difference well it is because our credit is low and that's why you can't or what, he was then told well no ,and then he brushes him off because another customer was coming in, like he was nothing" ( well excuse me , Zack you had a customer on the phone deal with that one first) I even confronted him the day before for the same reason, and said " are you treating me this way because I am not a walk in client? and he said no we treat all are customers the same!" I am still wondering why they couldn't make it work with the $2400.00 down instead of the $2800.00, you would think that it is only $400.00 and they could make it up in the difference each month like instead of $490.00 a month they could have made it an even $500.00. Oh well , I think these people are rude and like to get your hopes up on getting the vehicle of your choice and then just crushing you down to make you feel like s**t!

I just became aware of this report. It was four years ago, so obviously I can't respond to the specific facts cited by this consumer. Our guaranteed credit program is from a national company Credit Acceptance Corp, which has in business for over 25 years. They require down payment commensurate with the risk lending to the person applying for the car loan...the poorer the credit score, the higher, the down payment required from the applicant. Our store does not set the parameters for the lender, CAC does. Although it was a long time ago, I apologize for the delay getting back to you...that is unusual in our store. We have consistently achieve the highest customer satisfaction scores in our region.

Are you joking?  I've bought several cars here and used their "Guaranteed" program.  Obvioulsy you dont understand how things work.  I will assume by your post that your credit is bad, or you dont have any.  First off guaranteed approval does not mean you can pick any car you want at a low rate and pick your payment.  Im guessing they still use credit acceptance in which case you need to prove a minimal income and your residency or the most part.  They will give you a loan at around 25% interest on certain vehicles assuming you can provide 15-25% down payment.  It is a great program for those who are trying to build/rebuild credit.  The dealership does not pick the down payment or the payments, the lender does based on the credit YOU have earned.  Those deals are very small profit for the dealership so if they told you they didnt have the room to move, they probably where not lying.  They are not a charity and likewise they are not going to refuse a car sale thats profitable.  Chances are you where looking at a car YOU couldnt afford, dont be mad at them.  this isn't 1960, there are regualtions in place to protect the consumer.  A Bank will not lend over a small amount over a cars book value, or charge interest more than a few percent over the rate YOU qualify for.  The dealership cannot just make up numbers to "scam" you.  The prices they gave you are right on.  Do you REALLY want a 10,000 car at 25%?  Why are you worried about what car you get to build your credit?  Every can sold under that program has a warranty as long as your making payments.  They probably didnt call you back because you where being unreasonable and not listening to them.  I wouldnt either.  You cant just walk in and say you want a BMW at 2.9% with no money down or tell them you want a $200 payment on any car.  Im sorry you dont understand lending, advertising, or life but it bothers me your trashing this place on here and all over myspace and facebook for no reason.  This is probably the most honest dealership in town and you sound like you need a reality check.
