The post created was by an ex-employee who was let go. He has his own viewpoint but is definitely liable for slander for his comment about drunk employees. He is simply lying.
1. We don't sell software we sell services. We hire sales professionals who are willing to learn and we spend 2 months helping them ramp up as part of a 4 person team.
2. Yes we do expect calls to be made but we supply the Salesforce.com training, lists of qualified prospects, laptops, cell phones and power dialers so that our people can reach out to prospects and either qualify them or take them off the lists. In the end our goal is more "talk time" not make thousands of calls. If this occurs, then we know that our people are succeeding.
3. We have high standards for rules of conduct and if a person is coming to work drunk, they would be immediately let go.
4. Managers work with their teams daily and have a weekly meetings to discuss successes and failure and how we can improve.
Our compensation includes base salary, monthly bonuses, paid healthcare, paid life insurance, paid disability insurance, 401k with company contributions of 6% with no vesting period and a training portal where we provide web based training for every topic under the sun free of charge.
Zenith has grown from a $40 million company to $60 million company in the last 18 months. It's done so by having a very demanding and at the same time a rewarding environment. Employees make anywhere from $30k- $140k in base wage and bonuses for providing the industry leading managed service back office and business continuity hardware and services. We have over 50 people in sales and that number has doubled over the last year. We do our best to make sure that we have a good fit with a new employees before they come on board. Success is not guaranteed but we have a pretty good formula that we're working on improving every day.
