I was hired on at Zephry International in early August. They told me that I could be making moe money than I had ever made before. Actully this is how it broke down.... for the first 2-4 weeks you would be a feild rep making $300-500 a week. Then for 3-6 months after that you would be Team Leader or Trainer making $500-700 a week. Then move to Assitant Manager for the next 1-3 months making $800-1200 a week. After that you would make it all the way to Manager/owner making $75,000-100,000 a year for the first year and $125,000-150,000 after that.
Ok so I also found out they don't pay you by the hour it is only on comistion. So my boyfriend and I sat down and did the math. Everyday they give you a number of pieces to sell and they send you out to Walmart, Home Depot, Office Max, or where ever would let them set up. If I were to sell everything they gave me to sell at the rate of comistion I was to receive I wouldn't even get the $300 I was told I would and could make.
I had to stand outside from 10 in the morning (in dress clothes) till 5 in the evening trying to sell and promote non-profit oraganzations such as DARE or CPEA. Only 5% of the money is going to the non-profit the other 95% is going into Zephyr Internationals pocket.
Along with that the way the office is set up there is one room of the building the "distributers" were aloud to be unless other wise instructed by the mananger. They called this room atmosphere. In this room you had to have a smile on your face and be happy no matter how fake you were being. Most of the people working there had been sold on the idea of one day making alot of money yet were team leaders and still no making the $500-700 they were told they could and were BROKE!!!!!
This company preys on the nieve and young. I am 27 and was the oldest person working there. And I was just as stupid as the rest of them. Yes I did walk in with my gaurd up because it sounded way to good to be true and it was.
They also tell the customers that they can be found under the parterners of DARE on the web site. I have looked all over the web site and can't find anything. I had also tryed to contact the number I was given for the reginal director of DARE and it is completly fake.
