More research into this company has shown connections to another series of companies. American Home Solutions, in Raleigh is one. The registered agent, Jennifer Konik, claims to have many mortgage sources for customers. In other words, she is acting as a mortgage broker. The North Carolina Banking Commission web page shows her to be unlicensed. This is also the person used by Zero Down to run credit checks. She also operates two addional off shoots, Home Consulting Services nomoneydownsolutions.com and homeconsultingservices.com . None of these companies are more then 18 months old, or so their filings with the Secretary of State web page indicates. Sure would be nice to see all these people behind bars.

I went on the NC Secretary of State Web Page and got the following information: Zero Down Real Estate Investors Filed with Secretary of State 8-23-05 They claim there is no principal office. The following address is filed for the LLC Sarah Scadden 3232 Rexford Lane Apex, North Carolina 27539 It is an apartment community. 4030 Wake Forest Road does not have a tax card listed for unit 206. If you need me to check the lobby of the building to see if they really have a business there let me know. It's not far from my job. Heck, if you need me to I'll call downtown and see if they have a license to do business. I did a search on the NC Real Estate Commission web site. Sarah Scadden does not have a license so I'm sure the Commission could not help you. Let me know if I can help you put these scam artists out of business.

I agree with Ed, go after them. Email or write the North Carolina Real Estate Commission and the Attorney General, as well as the Attorney General in your state. And while you are at it, file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. The more research I do on these people, the more interlocking LLC's I find that are less then 18 months old. This is a new scam. Turn up the heat, and perhaps they will all be where they belong, the Cross Bar Hotel.
