Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I met with ANR after a tree fell through my roof. They instructed me to lie to my insurance company about who the tree belonged to. I had already opened a claim and supplied the footage of the tree, so I ignored this instruction. They insisted we had to intial a paper saying we agree to pay our deductible and that they would be able to talk to insurance. At no point were we ever told it was a contract of any kind (this is fraud by deception and misrespresentation). They insisted on being here when the insurance adjuster came to inspect. We were never given a copy.

Late September they claimed that there were extra building codes they had to update, and it would be more from my policy. Inurance rejected it. ANR came over and proceeded to visciously pound on my roof for 20 mins. (the new roofer said they were creating damage up there to try to get their claim approved). There are no building code upgrades. They claimed that the city refused to give them a permit until insurance approved this. This was a lie, because almost a month prior they had applied and been approved for the permit. There were no code updates.

They flat out refused to ever provide an estimate. Claimed we would go by insurances. They tried to claim with my insurance all this other work that was not ever to be performed by them.; They never once went into the attic, yet claimed we needed full attic insulation replaced. There was no water damage, yet they claimed massive water damage and mold. None of that is true. ANR was illegally acting as an unlicensed public insurance adjuster.

Insurance told us we have the right to view their estimate and to demand it. When I did just that, Ray Ghanim insisted on knowing who told me. He then said it was illegal to give me the estimate and that they were in contract with my insurance company.

They continued to refuse to provide the estimate so I told them we are not moving forward with anythign until we get it. Ray then said "fine, I won't do the work", to which I said I was fine with that. He then said he will sue. The company ocntinued to call me before I emailed them telling them I will only communicate in written messages. This angered them greatly.

I left a review on google so others could steer clear of them. 2 months later they respond to it by claiming I refused to pay my deductible, something that NEVER happened and can be proven because I paid it to the good contractor. I filed a complaint with the Texas AGs office and they opened and investigation which is ongoing. Insurance is working with them with the recorded calls of them trying to negotiate the claim. Whih is illegal.

This enraged them, so they filed a small clims case against me with their lies of me denying my deductible. They admit in their official complaint that they committed insurance fraud and are now at risk of losing their licesnses and facing jail time for insurance fraud.
