I am posting on here for the world to see what a sham attorney Pedro Cofino is.
I live in Ohio and hired Attorney Pedro Cofino to represent me in a probate case. Cofino ultimately milked me for $15000 (not a typo) in billable hours and did and accomplished nothing, taking advantage of the fact that I am not in Florida and feeding me BS.
To be sure, I ended up firing him when I reached $15000 in fees and realized that he had done next to nothing on my case, stating that he would make it right. Well, he never did and that never happened instead having his secretary respond on his behalf.
I am now filing a complaint with the licensing Board and seeking remedy to recoup my losses and time.

First, there are probate attorneys in Ohio you could go to and I have no clue as to why you went to an attorney in Florida when you are in Ohio. BTW, depending on the estate and the case involved, it can cost you more than $15,000 if there is no will or trust so simply complaining about the bill is a meaningless complaint.
At $400 per hour for a probate attorney, it would not take too long to bill $15,000. Even if you were to complain to the state bar in FL, as long as the attorney can document 35 or so hours of work, there would be nothing you could get back....
Second, don't call someone at a yahoo address to try and collect. That person is simply going to scam you....
