Complaint Review: Zhaleh Forouzan - Arusha Arusha

We are writing this statement to inform the public and relevant authorities about a serious breach of contract and unethical business practices committed by Zhaleh Forouzan, owner of African Nomad Design, in relation to the design and development of a lodge project in the Serengeti.

Over two years ago, we entered into a contractual agreement with Zhaleh Forouzan and African Nomad Design. We hired them to provide design and architectural services for a luxury lodge we were developing in the Serengeti region. At the time of the agreement, we made a significant financial payment to secure their services, trusting that the work would be completed as per the terms of our contract.

However, despite having received the agreed-upon payment, Zhaleh Forouzan and African Nomad Design failed to deliver any work on the project. After multiple attempts to communicate and request updates on the status of the project, we were met with silence. Over the course of the next several months, all calls, emails, and messages were ignored. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the situation amicably, Ms. Forouzan and her company chose to cut off all communication with us entirely.

This has now been over two years, during which time African Nomad Design has continued to ignore our calls and messages, effectively abandoning their obligations under the contract and withholding the money that was paid to them. We have since discovered that we are not the only ones affected by this behavior. There are numerous reports from other Tanzanians and companies who have experienced similar issues, where Zhaleh Forouzan and African Nomad Design have taken payments without performing the agreed-upon work, leaving clients without recourse or a resolution.

We strongly believe that Zhaleh Forouzan and African Nomad Design are engaging in a pattern of unethical behavior that is damaging to businesses and individuals who trust them with their projects. It is for this reason that we are issuing this public statement in order to:

1. Warn others who may be considering working with African Nomad Design or Zhaleh Forouzan. We urge caution to anyone considering entering into agreements with them and recommend thorough due diligence before any business is conducted.

2. Encourage accountability for those who have been similarly affected by African Nomad Design’s conduct. We believe that by sharing our experience, others who have faced similar issues can come forward and join us in seeking justice.

3. Pursue legal and formal remedies against African Nomad Design and Zhaleh Forouzan for breach of contract, fraud, and failure to perform services as agreed upon. We are currently exploring all available legal options to hold them accountable for the financial loss and damages we have incurred as a result of their inaction.

This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional, and we urge anyone considering working with Zhaleh Forouzan or African Nomad Design to proceed with extreme caution. We hope that through this statement, we can prevent others from falling victim to similar actions and encourage a swift resolution to this matter.

We are committed to seeking justice for ourselves and others affected by this unethical business practice and encourage anyone who has had similar experiences to come forward.
