I purchased a Solar Sensor LED street pole mounted outdoor flood light (item No 7065658) for $65.99 (delivery included) from Catch.com.au on 20/11/2022. The light arrived later in the month but required a follow up email. After charging and positioning the light as per supplied intructions I found the light did not switch on at night as specified. I repeated this a few times, charging for long period with same result using both local switch and remote (batteries not provided, supplied my own, new batteries and chnaged a few times).  On the 5/12/2022 I emailed Catch indicating the light did not work. Catch responded the following day by referring the issue to another provided call Sello Products. On the 6/12/2022 I received an email "We are so sorry about what happened. Could you please send us some pictures or video? If you can't attach photos or video here, please send them to [email protected] , and please use your order number (C56979172-B) as subject, we can refer back to your inqury better." after a number of iterations of emails/responses to emails and phone calls to Catch I provided photos, videos and then reponded to request for more photos and repeated requested to retest the light.....all of which appeared to stalling the resolution process. In frustration I contacted Choice Comsumer Group Australia who outlined steps I should take the first being to give Catch a deadline to address the issue. In subsequent did this allowing severla business days with no satisfactory result. I then contacted Consumer Affairs VIC (on 2 occasions) and was informed that under the Consumer Protection act (clause provided) if a product is faulty the onus is on the supplier who I placed the order with (Catch) to provide a full refund and given the large size of the solar light  to arrange for the return of the item at there cost (i.e given the high cost of sending it back my self relatiuve to purchase price).After many more emails Catch has still not oganised the return of the product (pick up from my residence at their cost) and a full refund not to mention the consideration of a good will gesture given the circa 50 odd emails (incuded to CEO of Catch with no response), several telephone calls, alot of time - this is now a matter of principle.
